Table
LISTEN TO 'THE LATEST TRACKS' NOW
PLAY IT ON A DIAL UP CONNECTION
PLAY IT ON A BROADBAND CONNECTION

David O’Dowda latest project is ambiguous in title as it is in genre. Inventive, timeless, and brimming with personality, Table redefine the idea of modern folk music, just as Grandaddy and Tunng have done so before them.

David has been members of and played with a variety of bands including progressive-indie outfit Sizer Barker with whom he supported Peter Gabriel on the 2004 ‘Still Growing up’ tour. He played with 'The Beans' (blues, reggae and swing) who released an EP called 'Sun is Shining' and also with Maraktu (latin/jazz funk) who's other members included John Jenkins - MD and drummer with 'the Streets'.

David continues to perform live with his new project, playing everything from In the City 2007 to television programmes such as Manchester's Channel M and radio shows such as BBC6 music with Guy Garvey...

Table are:

Dave O'Dowda - Piano/vocals
Keiran Flynn - Guitar/Vocals/Tin whistle
Rob Fowler - Accordian/Windorgan/Melodica/Drawbar
organ/Keyboards/Vocals/Finger Piano
Gemma Kost – Cello

"You know when you were younger and you hear something that you just want to play to all your mates? Well, ‘Songs You Can Sing’ by Table is one of those songs that you will want to play to your friends, because it makes you look cool..."

(Guy Garvey, BBC 6Music)
