When Jojo Thomas met Danny Norbury at Manchester’s Royal Northern College Of Music in 1995, they built a musical partnership as well as a solid friendship. Alongside prolific bassist and former member of Lamb, Jon Thorne, Cortina Deluxx soon established themselves as one of the premier folk bands in the North West, culminating in the release of their debut EP on limited edition 10” vinyl late 2006.

Both Danny and Jon have enjoyed solo successes with ‘Dusk’ and ‘Manchester Road’ respectively, while Jojo promotes and curates the thriving monthly live event, Hedge.
